Ben Stokes says England are not thinking of an overnight declaration in their 1st innings
All-rounder Ben Stokes has made it clear that England will be batting for another hour of the start of play on Day 3 of the ongoing 1st Test in Chennai

Despite posting a mammoth score of 555/8 against India on Day 2 of ongoing first Test match against England at MA Chidambaram Stium, England all-rounder Ben Stokes said that visitors are in mood of declaring ir innings overnight and that y can bat for ar hour on Day 3.
Stokes scored a vital 82 while batting in middle-order and his blistering kck included 10 boundaries and three maximums.

" thoughts of what so ever of declaration tonight. We can bat for ar hour tomorrow. We did t look to survive out re but we also looked to be positive way we scored," Stokes said in a virtual press conference after conclusion of play on day 2.
At same time, middle-order batsman also reckons that wicket will deteriorate from here and it will t be an easy task to bowl out hosts in both innings.
"A lot of hard work will be required from bowlers. Generally, wickets do t get any better out here in India especially when heat plays. It gonna get dryer, it is gonna break-up and it is gonna deteriorate. Just because we have gone out re and scored some big first-innings runs does t give us right to bowl m out twice like we hope to do. We kw we still gotta a lot of hard work to do as a bowling unit.
