India clinched the three match ODI series against Australia 2-1 as both teams will now head for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup. The series provided a perfect opportunity for both sets of teams to test their mettle ahead of the big event. Incidentally, the Indian team will open their World Cup campaign against the Aussies on 8th October at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.

Irfan Pathan termed Rohit Sharma as the goat, internet explodes

The swashbuckling opener has been hitting record after record and crossed another milestone during India's third ODI against Australia. The 36 year old is now the second highest six hitter in international cricket across all formats. With 551 over boundaries, he is after Chrius Gayle on the list who accumulated a record 553 sixes in the three cricketing formats so far. Rohit only needs two more sixes to leapfrog Gayle from the top spot.

The former Indian fast bowler took to Twitter as he termed the Mumbai Indians skipper as the goat of hitting sixes. He posted, "Rohit Sharma’s 6 hitting ability is the best we ever had as far as top order batter is concern. Easy as you like. #RohitSharma𓃵"
