Brad Hogg bats for Rishabh Pant's inclusion in Team India's limited-overs set up
Brad Hogg has urged the Indian team management to consider wicket-keeper batsman to be in their scheme of things in limited-overs cricket post Aus heroics

Former Australian spinner Br Hogg has urged Indian team manment to consider young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant in scheme of things for white-ball set-up.
Pant got opportunity to don gloves in second Test match at MCG after veteran stumper Wriddhiman Saha h failed with both bat and gloves in pink-ball Test at elaide Oval that preceded Boxing Day Test. However, he played impactful kcks in final two Tests at SCG (97) and Brisbane (87* where he also hit winning boundary) and h a lion's share in helping India retain Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

'He has proven himself': Br Hogg
"I would be putting him re right w because he has got confidence and belief. He has proven himself with two match-winning kcks in this Test series. You can’t get better than that playing for India on Australian soil. I would put him in place of Iyer. Keep your all-round options re for batting and bowling depth. He will be re for eir Iyer or Sanju Samson,” said Hogg while speaking on his Youtube channel.
“He is hard to bowl to because he plays a variety of shots that are different to any or batsman. Get him in re,” two-time World Cup winner ded.

Rishabh Pant's limited-overs cricketing career
Rishabh was sidelined from team after he suffered a concussion during home ODI series against Australia in January last year as a result of which KL Rahul was me a makeshift wicket-keeper and continued to don gloves in away limited-overs series against New Zealand that followed and during India's white-ball leg in Australia in vember-December last year, Rahul (also makeshift vice-captain for limited-overs series) was named first-choice wicket-keeper while Kerala sensation Sanju Samson was roped in as second-choice keeper.
