Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee celebrates his 43rd birthday on Friday, November 8, 2019. The Australian ace was one of the fastest bowlers of his era, consistently clocking the 150 km/h mark. Lee featured in the IPL for Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders, while also being a constant figure in the commentary box post-retirement. Sachin Tendulkar wishes Brett Lee

Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter wish Brett Lee on his 43rd birthday. The batting maestro posted a picture, where Lee can be pictured playing the guitar. Sachin captioned the picture as “Happy Birthday Binga! Speed comes effortlessly to you and so does music. Have a great year ahead my mate!”

No Swearing! Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh wish Binga

Former India batsman Yuvraj Singh and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh had one thing to say to Brett Lee: No swearing. Harbhajan posted a photo of an IPL game between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders in which both Harbhajan and Lee featured. He called the pacer one of the nicest Australians he’s met and played with. Yuvraj wished his mate Brett Lee by also urging him not to swear on his birthday and wished that he has a great day ahead.

Former Australia pacer Brett Lee turns 43

Brett Lee made his debut for Australia in 1999 and had a stellar career that spanned across 13 years. He played 76 Tests for Australia, picking up 310 wickets while adding another 380 wickets in 221 ODIs. Brett Lee holds the record of bowling the second fastest delivery. He achieved the feat when he bowled a ball of speed 161.1 km/h (100.1 mph) against New Zealand in 2005. Brett Lee announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in 2015, post which he took up a career in commentary, acting and music.
