Young English cricket team batter Harry Brook was snubbed by the England and Wales Cricket Board selection committee. The main reason behind his exclusion from the team was the return of all-rounder Ben Stokes. However, Brook has broken the silence of his snub from the team and admitted his disappointment. The right-handed batter further said that he could have done better to find a place in England's ODI World Cup 2023 side. The batter stated after 'The Hundred 2023' match against London Spirit:
Obviously, it's disappointing but I can't do anything about it now. You've just got to move on. I'm trying not to think about it anymore. I've not had much conversation with Matthew [Mott] or Jos [Buttler]. They said with Stokesy coming back I was probably going to miss out this time. He is one of the best players to ever play cricket, so I can't really complain, can I?
