returning Yuzvendra Chahal has once again proved his worth in middle overs, India's stand-in captain Rohit Sharma said on Saturday and lauded leg-spinner's ability to outthink batsmen. Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav were left out of T20 series against West Indies and South Africa after 50-over World Cup. selectors did t pick m as y wanted to try out some fringe players ahead of T20 World Cup next year. While Chahal has made a successful comeback with a stellar showing against Bangladesh, Kuldeep is waiting his opportunity.
"This is a very, very new unit. But Chahal, for last two years has been extremely consistent with how he has performed in white ball cricket. Even in ODI format, he has done extremely well for us," said Rohit ahead of series decider against Bangladesh here on Saturday.
"He bowled well in IPL, and n his performance got recognised and he was picked for Indian team in ODI format. Since n, he's been one of important members of squad, and he's proved that in this series, how important he can be in middle overs."

Rohit Sharma on why Chahal is different
Rohit feels Chahal's ability to outthink batsman is what makes him different from ors. leggie took two crucial wickets in same over in Rajkot, Mushfiqur Rahim and Soumya Sarkar, to put brakes on Bangladesh's scoring rate. "He kws what he's trying to do, and he exactly kws what batsman is trying to do. He's basically trying to stay ahead of game, ahead of batsman. That makes him a little more challenging for any batsman. He has understood that really well, and he's got variation and skills. "If you have that in this format, you will definitely succeed. He's bowled well in middle overs and even in PowerPlay. He's t afraid to bowl even at end. I used him in 18th over as well and he bowled pretty well in that over as well. He gives us so much flexibility," said Rohit.
Bangladesh coach Russell Domingo said his team will be looking to put inexperienced Indian attack under pressure on Sunday. Rohit, too, ackwledges that his bowlers are inexperienced but "re can't be a better st to learn". "Yes, y are slightly inexperienced. This is right time for m to learn. We always say you should play domestic cricket and learn. But I feel that till you play international cricket, you won't kw where you stand as a bowler. This is a very good challenge for whole bowling group," said Rohit Sharma. young attack comprises Deepak Chahar, Washington Sundar, Khaleel Ahmed and Rahul Chahar.
"An international team will always challenge you. ir batsmen will always challenge you, put you under pressure. Only when se things happen will our bowlers emerge. We have seen that in this format when you have 1 or 2 bad games, you can come under pressure and you are t able to execute your skills."

Rohit has scored a mountain of runs against Bangladesh and even in last game, he made a match-winning 85. Asked if he likes playing against Bangladesh and secret behind his success against m, Rohit quipped: "f I say what is mystery, y will kw and y will restrict me. I don't want to reveal that." He also said that he was t disappointed at missing out on a hundred in his 100th match. "I was t looking to score a hundred, I was looking to win game. Really happy about that." Rohit is expecting a sporting wicket for series decider. "Nagpur generally is a very good track to play cricket actually. It assists bowlers also if you are bowling in right channels. Even Rajkot pitch re was something in re for bowlers. Our spinners especially were getting a lot of turns. pitch doesn't matter if you have skills and variations in your armory."
