While talks between ICC and PCB are still happening, reports suggest Pakistan are not rey for a ‘hybrid’ model. So, what happens now? apex body of cricket has given feelers that if Pakistan does not agree to hybrid model n entire tournament gets shifted to a new country. Pakistan surely would not want that as y would n have to face a huge financial loss.

A Loss of USD 65 Million?

As quoted by Zee News, Pakistan could lose USD 65 Million, which is a whopping amount. This sum includes earnings from ticket sales, sponsorship deals, and brocasting rights This is crucial for PCB, especially as it has me substantial investments to upgre venues across Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore in preparation for Champions Trophy . Would Pakistan eventually agree to hybrid model? Looks like y have to, eventually. 

PCB UNWILLING TO MOVE CT OUT OF PAKISTAN

As per PTI, Pakistan Cricket Board is firm on its stand to not let Champions Trophy move out of Pakistan and has assured ICC of security arrangements me for prestigious event.

Earlier, PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi h clearly mentioned that PCB was keen on hosting tournament on home soil and not "prepared to accept" any hybrid model.

"In last two months, Indian media has been reporting that India isn't travelling," Naqvi h said while talking to media outside Gdafi Stium on Friday (November 8).

"I discussed this with m and my team, and our stance is clear: y need to give us in writing any objections y may have. Until now, no discussion of hybrid model has happened, nor are we prepared to accept one. Indian media are reporting it, but no formal communication has reached PCB," he h ded.
