Allegations and counter-allegations are coming thick and fast from Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) with two rival factions trading serious charges of "corruption and money laundering" against each other with BCCI joint secretary-elect Jayesh George being the centre point. Jayesh has been accused by the rival faction of laundering of about Rs 2.5 crore from KCA during his tenure as treasurer, joint-secretary and secretary.
KCA hits back with a letter
The allegations have come from a group called ‘We for Clean Cricket Movement’ which also accused Jayesh of conspiration to remove the former president TC Mathew from the primary membership of KCA. The KCA has now hit back with a letter, a copy of which is in possession with Republic TV, saying all allegations are baseless, frivolous and malicious in nature.
