Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has opened up on Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's T20I future ahead of the 2024 World Cup.

Kevin Pietersen gives honest verdict on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's T20I future 

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen was asked about Indian captain Rohit Sharma and batsman Virat Kohli's future in T20Is. After India's disappointing loss in T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final against England, Virat and Rohit have stayed away from T20I format, whereas, Indian management has been constantly giving chances to or younger players. Speaking to IANS, Pietersen said: 

y ( Kohli and Rohit) have every chance, would have to see how y go in IPL, check m in IPL. Because y have been so incredible servants to Indian cricket, you have to give m respect and you have to ask m that according to form wher y fancy ir chances or not. y are fabulous cricketers.

BCCI start to build core team for T20 World Cup 2024

Ever since India's disappointing loss in final of 2024 T20 World Cup, BCCI and Indian selectors have started to work on core team for next edition of tournament. management has been constantly giving chances to young players who have shown immense promise in IPL. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is expected to become team's T20I captain as ‘Men in Blue’ have played majority of T20I series after 2022 World Cup under leership of Hardik.
