Chennai Weather Forecast And Update: According to Accuweather, Chennai might witness few spells of rain in the next five days.

Chennai Weather Forecast And Update: There is much buzz around the start of India's cricketing home season. It starts on Thursday when India take on Bangladesh in the opening Test match at the iconic Chepauk in Chennai. While the excitement is high, it could be heartbreak for fans as there are forecasts of rain. Although the weather has been a bit humid with the temperature hovering around 30 degrees, there are possibilities of rain on the first day of the match. To be precise, there is a 20 per cent chance of rain playing spoilsport on Thursday, which is the opening day of the Test. The humidity would be around the 60 per cent-mark which is bound to make it uncomfortable for the players in the middle.

Ind vs Ban PREVIEW

Despite their good current form following their wins against Pakistan , India at home, will start favourites. It is the start of a brand-new home season and the Indian side would like to start with a win as these points would be added to their World Test Championship points table. India are currently at the numero uno position in the points table. Bangladesh would be hoping that their spinners get purchase, but reports suggest that the pitch would have substantial bounce. The bounce may make the selection of the playing XIs tricky.
