Former chief selector MSK Pras reckons Virat Kohli 's form ahe of much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy is concerning. Pras reminded fans how Kohli was key contributor in 2018-19 series. In ongoing series against New Zealand, Kohli has amassed 88 runs in his four outings. Also, against Banglesh , he was t at his best accumulating merely 99 runs in four innings against Banglesh . When asked if Kohli needs to peak in Australia, Pras affirmed.

"Hundred percent. If you look at way he performed in 2018 series, on one side he brought aggression into batting and on or side (Cheteshwar) Pujara was holding fort. So we are missing combination those two h, caution with aggression," he said.

"Pujara was playing solidly on one side and Virat got aggression from or end. way Virat batted, he inspired everyone else. So form of most premier batter is definitely a cause for concern, that too with ICC Test Championship and points system that's re," former India selector ded.

w that side has lost two Test matches against New Zealand at home, ir task of making final has become difficult. five Test matches India play against Australia would be extremely crucial. If India has to make final of WTC, y would have to win games in Australia as well.
