India got off to an awful start on Day 3 of India vs England 2nd Test as batting mainstay Cheteshwar Pujara was dismissed for just 7 courtesy of some sharp glovework by England wicketkeeper Ben Foakes. Englishman's quick reflexes and alertness ensured that visitors got off to a good start on Day 3.

Pujara was dismissed for just 7 in most bizarre manner. Saurashtra lad stepped out, flicked ball to short leg and set out for a run. However, upon realising that fielder had caught ball, he was returning inside his crease. But thanks to deteriorating Chepauk pitch, Pujara's bat stuck into pitch outside crease. Pope quickly flicked ball to Foakesm who n whipped bails in a flash, which resulted in an unfortunate dismissal for batsman.
Even commentators were baffled with Pujara run out. Sunil Gavaskar, who was commentating during game, also shared his views about Pujara run out and Chepauk pitch. Indian veteran quipped that w Pujara's dismissal can be blamed on Chepauk pitch. last couple of days have seen some former cricketers like Michael Vaughan and Mark Waugh expressing ir disappointment at how Chepauk pitch has been made. Reacting on same, Gavaskar joked that y w have ar reason to blame Chepauk surface.
