New Zealand's Colin Munro smashed an unbeaten 107 run-kck as New Zealand XI cruised to a victory against England in second warm-up T20 game on Tuesday. Colin Munro's quickfire kck came off just 57 deliveries and was studded with nine fours and seven sixes. Chasing a target of 189 runs, New Zealand comfortably completed ir run-chase in 18.3 overs with Colin Munro and Anari Kitchen standing unbeaten with scores of 107 runs and 48 runs respectively. Colin Munro's display of fireworks comes days ahead of New Zealand's first T20 against England. England takes on New Zealand in five T20s starting from vember 1.

New Zealand vs England T20Is: Tim Soue to lead side
New Zealand captain Kane Williamson will be missing T20I series against England due to a hip injury. Tim Soue was named as captain in his absence. Pacer Trent Boult has also been omitted for first three of five T20Is, in order to focus on his Test preparations. Although Williamson played in Plunket Shield this week for rrn Districts, after discussions with coach Gary Stead it was decided that resting him was best option. Tim Soue had earlier led New Zealand to a 2-1 victory in T20Is against Sri Lanka after Kane Williamson was rested from that leg of tour. Apart from rrn Districts' game against Canterbury, in which he batted once and scored 26, Kane Williamson has t played since two-Test series against Sri Lanka in August.

Speaking on Williamson's injury, coach Gardy Stead said that team has been monitoring injury for a while w and it's same issue that ruled him out of final Test against Bangladesh back in March. He also said that It's disappointing timing for Kane Williamson at start of an exciting Kiwi summer, but y feel it's right decision with a busy season ahead. Lockie Ferguson, who is due to make his return from a thumb injury, has been named in T20I squad for first three games, with Boult returning to take his place for fourth and fifth. rest of squad is similar to that which took on Sri Lanka. Allrounder Jimmy Neesham returns, along with pace bowler Blair Tickner, who has been capped once previously in T20Is, while Todd Astle, Tom Bruce, and Seth Rance missed out.
