'Come 22nd Morning We Should Be Absolutely Ready': Gautam Gambhir's Fiery Warning To Australia

Gambhir touched upon various subjects as he attended the pre-departure press conference on Monday morning before leaving for Australia.

Ahe of India’s all-important tour of Australia, he coach Gautam Gambhir said that conditions would be obvious challenge, and he is confident that team will be fully prepared for opening day in Perth. Gambhir touched upon various subjects as he attended pre-departure press conference on Monday morning before leaving for Australia. Border-Gavaskar Trophy is scheduled to begin on vember 22.

Gautam Gambhir backs Team India to do well in Australia   

“ challenge is obviously conditions because when you play back home in India as compared to when you play in Australia, conditions are different. And I think 10 days if we can get good proper preparation before start of series. I think we got to be in really good shape and we've got a lot of experience, players who've been to Australia. So obviously ir experience will come in handy for young players as well, so se 10 days are going to be very crucial, but come 22nd morning we should be absolutely rey to fire from ball one.”

Gautam Gambhir was full of praise for young players in team’s set-up. he coach spoke at length and said players such as Washington Sundar and Dhruv Jurel are future of Indian cricket.

“It is always good when a young player comes in, wher its Dhruv Jurel, who has done really well against England, be it Washington Sundar, it’s great for Indian cricket. se guys are future of Indian cricket as well, so it is really encouraging,” Gambhir said.

“I think good sign is that some of young players are really coming. Through and, which is always healthy and good for Indian cricket.”

In recently completed series against New Zealand, Washington Sundar, who was drafted in after first Test, was among brightest spots for team. He bagged 16 wickets in 4 innings and was among few who drew praise from experts about his abilities as well.
