PSL 2020: Mohammad Hafeez urges people to avoid spreading rumours

Recently, PSL 2020 was also called off with immediate effect because of significant rise in spread of coronavirus pandemic. This decision was taken with immediate effect as  COVID-19 had started taking a toll on Pakistan.  cases saw an astonishing rise in last one day as Pakistan failed to contain outbreak. situation in Pakistan is severe and re are a lot of speculations and rumours that are doing rounds on social media regarding coronavirus pandemic.

On Tuesday, Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez took to Twitter and made an appeal to Pakistani citizens. Mohammad Hafeez urged  public to t spread rumours about coronavirus and requested everyone to follow necessary precautions. Mohammad Hafeez wrote, "Humble request to all, please stop spreading rumours about #Corona, stop blaming ors and follow precautions and stay safe."

On Monday, Pakistan recorded ir biggest single-day rise in coronavirus pandemic as 90 new coronavirus cases took number of COVID-19 patients in country to an alarming 184. And with situation getting worse with each passing moment, PCB decided to call off PSL 2020.  PCB anunced that remaining games of tournament will be rescheduled and tournament was called off.
