What is the 'red card' rule in CPL?

A red card rule has been imposed in the Caribbean Premier League to deal with slow overrate issues and ensure that the game is finished within its given time period. As per the new rule, the implementation of a new red card rule has been introduced in the 2023 edition of the CPL.

As per the new rule, heavy fines will be imposed on the team bowling their overs slowly, which will also result in the loss of a fielder at the start of the 20th over of the innings.
