In a historic decision, Eden Gardens Kolkata will host first-ever pink ball day-night Test match under lights in India from vember 22 to 26, after Bangladesh Cricket Board agreed on proposal. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had requested BCB on late Sunday if y were keen to as it was high time that two-nations played Day-Night Test match.

Former Cricketer Aakash Chopra and Cricketer commentator Harsha Bhogle were first few from Cricket Fraternity to come forward and hail this decision by new BCCI President Sourav Ganguly.

fans were also elated by this news as Sourav Ganguly convinced Bangladesh for India's first-ever Day-Night Test. While some hoped that this would continue for Australia tour next year, ors hailed Ganguly for making this possible.

Many in Indian camp including coach Ravi Shastri were t too keen to experiment but finally agreed, even as captain Virat Kohli agreed to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly's proposal when y met on selection day.
