Cricket South Africa (CSA) Graeme Smith has expressed disappointment with Cricket Australia (CA)'s decision to postpone upcoming Test series with Proteas due to coronavirus pandemic.
Former Proteas skipper Smith said CSA was working tirelessly in recent weeks to ensure that y meet every single expectation of CA.

'We are extremely disappointed': Graeme Smith
"We are extremely disappointed by decision of CA. CSA has been working tirelessly in recent weeks to ensure that we meet every single expectation of CA," said Smith in CSA release.
"This was set to be longest tour in a BSE comprising a three-match Test series that was scheduled to begin with Australia's arrival later in month. So to be informed about CA decision at eleventh hour is frustrating," he ded.

Australia tour of South Africa postponed
In an official statement released by Cricket Australia, governing body confirmed postponement of ir three-match Test tour to 'Rainbow Nation'. statement mentioned that traveling from Australia to South Africa in current situation was an unacceptable level of health and safety risk to ir players, support staff, and community. South Africa has seen a rise in COVID-19 cases, including a second wave and emergence of a new strain of virus.
statement also ackwledged significant amount of work by CSA in planning for tour and revealed that Cricket Australia were prepared to take on ditional cost and effort to make series happen. release also mentioned that board was extremely disappointed to have arrived at decision, especially given importance of continuing international cricket at this time, our valued relationship with Cricket South Africa (CSA).

Proteas were all set to host Aussies in a three-match Test series in March. decision of suspending away Test tour has done some dam to Australia's chances of making it to inaugural edition of ICC World Test Championship finals.
