CSK gives a savage reply to a fan claiming that the franchise would release MS Dhoni
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) gave a savage reply to a fan who had claimed that the franchise would be releasing their successful captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

MS Dhoni has been out of action for a while w. He was last seen in action during India's World Cup 2019 semi-final loss against New Zealand in July post which re have been a lot of speculations about his retirement. If that was t eugh n re was a fan who h recently claimed that CSK will t be retaining MSD and he will be released. This happened on same day after three-time winners h teased ir fans by saying 'Releasing Tomorrow' ahe of deline of submitting list of players that have been retained and released.
However, Chennai Super Kings revealed that y will t be releasing MS Dhoni and at same time, also gave a befitting reply to fan.

MS Dhoni's contribution to CSK's success
Under MS Dhoni's reign, Chennai Super Kings have won IPL thrice in 2010, 2011 and 2018 respectively and have finished as runners-up on five occasions. In fact, CSK is only team to have featured in IPL playoffs in all seasons and have best win percent among all teams in IPL (61.28). Apart from IPL, MS Dhoni-led side has also won w-defunct Champions League Twenty20 twice in 2010 and 2014. In 2019 edition, CSK who were defending champions agonizingly fell short of retaining ir title by just one run against Mumbai Indians who went on to win ir record fourth IPL crown.
