CSK vs RCB, IPL 2022 Highlights: Uthappa & Dube's 50s guide CSK to first victory in season

The Chennai Super Kings defeated the Royal Challengers Bangalore by 23 runs to register their first win of the IPL 2022 season. Below are the top performers of the match:

The Royal Challengers Bangalore still require 43 runs to win off the last two overs with just one wicket remaining. If the Chennai Super Kings manage to dismiss either Mohammed Siraj or Josh Hazlewood, they will register their first win of the IPL 2022 season.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore are in real trouble as Chennai Super Kings batter Ravindra Jadeja stepped up and picked up two wickets in the 16th over. At the end of 16 overs, RCB's score is 146/8.

CSK got off the mark in the second ball of the first over, before Gaikwad hit the first boundary of the match in the fourth delivery.

RCB pacer Mohammed Siraj bowled the first over of the match, while Ruturaj Gaikwad took the strike.

Faf du Plessis won the toss for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and chose to field first.

Chennai Super Kings captain Ravindra Jadeja hopes that the team can win the first game of the IPL 2022 season as he stated, "We'll look to come here and play competitive cricket. The toss is not going our way, something that's not going our way. As a team every game is important. We'll try to fight it out and clinch our first win hopefully. We are going with the same team."
