Curtly Ambrose's praising words for Virat Kohli
Former West Indies cricket pacer Curtly Ambrose, while speaking to RevSportz, came up with some appreciative words for Indian cricket team batter Virat Kohli. The former Indian team captain has ruled world cricket for over a decade and also achieved many records. Curtly Ambrose said:
I have seen Virat for several years now, and I don’t need to tell you that he is a great player. And like every great player in history, he went through a lean period. But that does not mean he is finished or that he is over the hill, or he is not the same player of old.

Curtly Ambrose added
He looked hungry to me, looked disciplined and fit. These are all important signs to observe. I think Virat can make a telling difference for India in the World Cup at home. He has all the talent and hunger to do so.

Virat Kohli went through a lean phase in international cricket during which, the 'run machine' failed to contribute in huge numbers. The Indian batter didn't score any international ton from November 2019 to September 2022. However, now that Kohli has regained his lost touch and has scored three centuries in ODI cricket in the last ten months.
Virat Kohli's form will be an enormous boost for the Indian team ahead of the Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup 2023.
