Dale Steyn tweets cryptic message over Australia's tour of South Africa controversy
Fast bowler Dale Steyn recently hinted that the postponement of the Australia vs South Africa tour could have a significant impact on South African cricket.

Australia's proposed tour of South Africa was postponed after Cricket Australia decided against having matches in country due to South Africa coronavirus cases increasing by day. While Australian board also proposed to host three-Test matches in Australia itself, Cricket South Africa declined offer. As per World Test Championship standings, Tim Paine and co. are placed third.
However, Australia's chances of qualifying for final appear bleak. South Africa's Dale Steyn was left unimpressed after Australia's approach and vented his anger out through a cryptic tweet.

Dale Steyn unhappy with postponement of Australia vs South Africa series
Former South Africa cricketer Paul Harris in his tweet suggested that Australia would t have resorted to putting ir tour on hold if y were scheduled to travel to India or England. Celebrated fast bowler Dale Steyn responded to tweet by highlighting how Australia h demanded an extended quarantine routine for South Africa players who were flying down from Pakistan.

fast bowler opined that because of this demand, experienced red-ball players h to miss rest of Pakistan tour, and inexperienced players h to be handed Test caps. He mentioned that it was too much to ask from young players, as y will be without support of ir senior campaigners. Dale Steyn also hinted that postponement of tour could have an impact on country's cricket in multiple ways.

ICC World Test Championship standings
New Zealand, who are currently placed second on ICC World Test Championship standings, have become first team to make it to final of competition. Tim Paine-led Australian side occupy third spot on points table with 69.2 percent points to ir name. This makes upcoming India vs England Test series even more important for both participating nations.

India, who currently are at top of WTC standings with 71.7 percent points, will have to win home series by at least a two-match margin to make it to Final of ICC World Test Championship. England, who are fourth with 68 percent points, also have an outside chance if y man to win India vs England Test series by 3-0, 4-0, or a 3-1 margin as well.
