Darren Sammy has come forward and said that Chris Gayle will be hard to replace in 2020 edition of Caribbean Premier League (CPL) after destructive opener had backed out from this year's tournament. As per reports, Windies power-hitter has pulled his name out of West Indian franchise T20 cricket citing personal reasons. news comes one day before draft is scheduled to take place on Wednesday i.e. June 24.

“It’s always going to be difficult to replace a player of Chris Gayle’s calibre, especially Zouks team, which was so excited to have Chris, who would have brought his experience and match-winning abilities,” said Sammy while speaking to Gleaner.
“ show still has to go on and, hopefully, we can find someone who can come in and have an impact for us,” two-time T20 World Cup-winning skipper added.
