David Warner finally reunited with his baggy green, backpack mysteriously recovered from team hotel

Australian opener David Warner has finally received his baggy greens, but it's whereabouts were found in a rather mysterious place.

The ongoing Australia vs Pakistan Test series is an emotional affair for David Warner, as this will be the final Test match for his competitive career. Warner will not be in action in the International format for the Test and ODI format. But ahead of the final Test match, Warner ran into a problem as he lost his backpack with items that had sentimental value. Fortunately, the Aussie opener's belongings were found, but in a mysterious manner.

David Warner shares a new video with his reunited Baggy Green

Australia opener David Warner received his baggy green back four days after it was misplaced in transit between Melbourne and Sydney. Warner is playing his final Test match at the SCG, and he shared his delight after sharing a video on Instagram. Warner said, “I am pleased and relieved to have my baggy back in my hands. Any cricketer knows how special their cap is, and I will cherish this for the rest of my life.”

“It’s a load off my shoulders going into the last couple of days, so I really appreciate it. Thank you all,” the Aussie opener added.

While they found the missing baggy, the place where it was found was mysterious. A Cricket Australia spokesperson mentioned that Warner's backpack was in the team hotel with all the items inside. But how it turned up in the hotel remains unknown.

Previously, the Australian opener turned to social media to let everyone know that someone stole his backpack in transit from Melbourne during the Boxing Day Test. He put his baggy green in a backpack inside an Australian cricket suitcase that was in transit for Sydney. However, the bag was missing from the luggage, and Warner desperately pleaded to recover his baggy green.
