Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam was praised by David Warner during the third T20I between Pakistan and Australia at Hobart. Babar, who was recently dropped from the Test side unceremoniously, was back to his best in white-ball cricket in the final T20I on Monday. Babar's 28-ball stay featured four boundaries but it was a pull shot that impressed Warner. Claiming that every youngster should watch it, Warner said Babar gets under the ball perfectly with full control every time.

‘He gets under the ball every time’

"Any youngster out there should watch Babar Azam how to play the pull shot. He gets under the ball every time with full control."

Warner also claimed that he would happily give Rs 15-20 cr for Babar if he was the owner of a BBL team.

‘Would blindly purchase Babar Azam’

'If I were one of the BBL franchise owners, I would blindly purchase Babar Azam for at least 15,20 CR for my team. Babar Azam is a class player,' Warner said during live commentary.

At the time of filing the copy, Pakistan were reeling at 94 for seven in 15 overs. Aaron Hardie with three wickets to his name has been the best Australian bowler on display. For Pakistan, it was a good knock by Babar but nothing more to speak of. With five overs still left, it would be interesting to see how much can Pakistan post.
