Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals share a hilarious banter over a star all-rounder

Delhi Capitals trolled IPL rivals Rajasthan Royals in a hilarious manner by taking the name of their superstar all-rounder Ben Stokes on social media

Delhi Capitals had an excellent outing last season which was also ir debut IPL season as well. team led by youngster Shreyas Iyer finished third after losing to eventual runners-up Chennai Super Kings in playoffs. This time, y would look to finish as winners. IPL 2020 has been postponed from March 29 to April 15 due to outbreak of COVID-19 that has spread all over world. 

Meanwhile, Capitals were recently involved in a social media banter along with Rajasthan Royals and y ended up trolling one of Royals' star players Ben Stokes.

DC trolls Ben Stokes

It had so happened that Capitals had asked all Delhi admins to participate in a Question & Answer session on social media and that is when Rajasthan Royals had made ir presence felt.

Taking to micro-blogging site, inaugural edition winners asked last year's semi-finalists which RR player would y like to have in ir squad to which DC hilariously replied that y would like to have a match-winning all-rounder from ir side and n revealed suspense by taking name of Ben Stokes.

Delhi Capitals also mentioned how RR would react to this in a hilarious manner.

Coming back to IPL, even Rajasthan Royals would be hoping to win ir second IPL trophy and reby, end ir title drought after 12 long years.

status of IPL 2020

13th edition of IPL 2020 that was supposed to get underway on March 29 with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on former champions Chennai Super Kings in tournament opener at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai has w been postponed to April 15 due to outbreak of infectious COVID-19.

Meanwhile,  Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly had last week said that IPL will take place but re is also a possibility of it being a truncated one. Ganguly also said that a weekly reassessment will be done on same.
