Over the last couple of years, DK has emerged as a prominent broadcaster, with a few of his notable works are, narrating the action in both the WTC finals and in the recently culminated Ashes 2023. He will likely continue his stint with the mic at the biggest 50-over competition.

Replying to a fan's query on the social media platform "X", Karthik made it known that he will be seen in the month-and-a-half-long tournament. Though, he could not give the enthusiast any input on the wandering which was, "Who should be the wicket-keeper?", yet, gave away what he knew. "You'll see me in the World Cup for sure is what I can say", wrote Dinesh Karthik on a space that was formerly known as Twitter.
