After registering a seven-wicket win over Hyderab at Sheikh Zayed Stium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, Kolkata skipper Dinesh Karthik mitted that he needs to up his game and get a few runs for his side. Karthik came out to bat at number four position for second time in a row, but his stay at crease did t last long as he was sent back after being trapped plumb in front of wicket by Rashid Khan. DK failed to trouble scorers in Saturday's contest.

"One duck doesn't make you a b player. I think McCullum is very clear that best batters bat at top of order, I just need to get some runs. I need to probably up my game and get a few runs," Dinesh Karthik told host brocaster Star Sports after conclusion of match against 'Orange Army'.
Kolkata restrict Hyderab

Kolkata put on a completely dominating performance with ball as y restricted Hyderab for 142 of first 20 overs. While Cummins got rid of in-form Bairstow early in innings, skipper David Warner kept going and looked dangerous. Young spinner Varun Chakravarthy n baffled Hyderab skipper with a dream delivery. n Manish Pandey and Wriddhiman Saha continued to build innings for Orange Army.
However, with boundaries drying up and innings end approaching Manish Pandey attempted to big and was eventually caught and bowled by Andre Russell. Pandey top-scored for Hyderab as he brought up his half-century before getting dismissed.

Gill-Morgan take Kolkata across line
Chasing a modest total of 143, two-time winners were in a spot of bor as y lost early wickets. Danger slogger Sunil Narine was dismissed in second over by Khaleel Ahmed while Nitesh Rana was also sent back after a short cameo. Skipper Dinesh Karthik n took onus upon himself, but his stay at crease was short-lived courtesy of Rashid Khan's brilliant delivery to trap him plumb. It was n Gill & Morgan who anchored entire innings stitching a partnership of 92 runs for fourth wicket and ensuring that re were furr hiccups as Dinesh Karthik-led side got past finish line by seven wickets and exactly two overs to spare.
