Don't think India can turn this as Adelaide was their only opportunity: Brad Haddin
Former Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin reckons the opening day/night Test was India's best shot at winning in the ongoing series as it will be very difficult for the visitors to script a turnaround after demoralizing eight-wicket loss in Adelaide.

India were bundled out for ir lowest-ever Test score of 36 in ir second innings as Australia claimed an eight-wicket win in pink-ball Test to take a 1-0 le in Border-Gavaskar trophy.

"I don't think y will (recover from loss)," Hdin told SEN Rio. 43-year-old, who featured in 66 Tests for Australia, feels conditions at elaide Oval were conducive to Indian bowling attack.
"I thought ir only opportunity to win a Test match was first Test at elaide. "I thought conditions suited ir bowling and I thought y'd get eugh runs. But I don't think y'll be able to turn it around.

"You've got one Test up at Brisbane where one beats Australia. se next two wickets will be suited to Indian cricket, but I don't think y'll be able to turn it around," Hdin ded. India created history by registering ir maiden series win Down Under in 2018-19 on back of a lethal pace-bowling attack.
However, visitor's are without experienced Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami, who suffered a fracture after being hit on elbow by a Pat Cummins short ball during India's second innings on Saturday.

"y h a great bowling attack last time y come out here, and w with Shami out with a broken arm y don't have eugh depth to cover that," Hdin said.
Reflecting on Indian batting collapse Hdin said "I think it's really concerning. Yes, India were driving game and we were talking at start of day three about how Australia would get back into it, but collapse y h has to leave some marks." With skipper Virat Kohli returning home for birth of his child, India are faced with selection dilemmas. "re were a few performances from Indian batsmen that will come under scrutiny over next week.

"Do y go in with (Wriddhiman) Saha? Who goes to top order for Prithvi Shaw? Rohit Sharma comes out of quarantine, does he come back into side? "y have a lot of things y're going to have to tackle over this next week leing into this next Test," Hdin ded. India will take on Australia in Boxing Day Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground, starting December 26.
