Anushka Sharma responded to the flak that she received on various occasions through the years. She started with the dip in Virat Kohli's performance a few years back for which she was somehow blamed. Netizens and critics had then accounted her presence in the 'stands' as a reason for the stint of poor performances of India's ace batsmen and now captain Virat Kohli. She said, "I have stayed quiet through all the times I was blamed for the performance of my then-boyfriend, now-husband Virat and continue to take blame for the most baseless things involving Indian cricket." While mentioning the recent media reports of the Indian selectors serving her tea at a World Cup match, she said that she attended only one match and saw the match from the Family Box and not the Selectors Box.
