England announce squad for first 2 Tests vs India: Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes back in hut
The English selectors have brought stars Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes back into the squad as they set their eyes on the World Test Championship.

In run-up to much-awaited two-month long tour, England Cricket Board (ECB) has anunced its squ for first two Tests of series against India. England has anunced 16-man strong squ with an ditional six members slated to travel as reserves. Joe Root will continue to le side while Moeen Ali, who was infected with COVID-19 in Sri Lanka, will travel to India for Test series. Rory Burns will also return to squ. Meanwhile, Ollie Pope has been included in touring party, however, he will only be included if deemed fit. Pope is currently recovering from a shoulder injury sustained in September during Test series against Pakistan. touring party will also miss out on services of Jonny Bairstow, young all-rounder Sam Curran and Mark Wood as y have been rested for series.

India's squ for first 2 Tests
Test series which is set to begin from February 5, will witness return of skipper Virat Kohli who h travelled back home after first Test against Australia for birth of his first child. selection panel led by Chetan Sharma has also brought back veteran speedster Ishant Sharma, who h been ruled out of Australia tour with an injury whereas Hardik Pandya will also don whites despite having lost his far a few days ago.

In absence of Mohamm Shami and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Indian team has reposed its faith in young guns Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur, who've h an impressive Test series Down Under. In spin department, Ravichandran Ashwin and Washington Sundar along with Kuldeep Yav have retained ir spots while Axar Patel has been called in to fill Ravindra Jeja's shoes, who sustained an injury during Australia tour.

England tour of India 2020/21

In an official statement by Indian board, decision for limited venues was me due to coronavirus crisis that is prevailing in country. venues decided for series are Chennai’s M. A.
