India have bagged eleven successive series at home since February 2013 and have maintained ir top spot in ICC Test rankings. India has w take an unassailable 2-0 lead in three-match Test series and will look to whitewash Proteas in third and final Test at Ranchi. Virat Kohli was adjudged Man of Match for his unbeaten kck of 254 runs which outplayed South Africa from contest. Former cricketers including VVS Laxman, Mohammad Kaif and Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to congratulate India on ir eleventh consecutive series win at home and for hitting 200 points on World Test Championship table.

A dominant performance

It was a complete performance from team India with bat, ball and on field. India mand to reduce South Africa to seven wickets before tea, with Vern Philander and Keshav Maharaj once again building a partnership to save South Africa of blushes. In previous innings, tailender duo stitched toger a partnership of 138 runs, frustrating Indian bowlers who finally mand to get a breakthrough in last over of final session from Ravi Ashwin.
