This conference was held keeping in mind ICC's new initiative with UNICEF- 'One Day For Children'. The initiative's ICC representative is none other than icon Sachin Tendulkar.

The money raised will support UNICEF’s work in cricket playing nations to help children learn to play and be healthy,” the ICC said.

The Cricket World Cup's Twitter handle, in light of the same, posted pictures of some of the merchandise of the top players that will be up for auction.
