The Great Hardik Pandya Snub

Hardik Pandya's snub as the T20I captain of India is something that has been overly talked about and rightly so. After Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from the shortest international format, Pandya was always in line to take over. Hardik led India's T20I side throughout 2023 and was India's probable skipper for the 2024 T20 World Cup. But Rohit Sharma took over and led India to the T20 World Cup glory for the second time. What has been more surprising is the fact that Hardik wasn't even considered to be the vice-captain of the team. India's tour to Sri Lanka starts on July 27, 2024.
