Former India openers Gautam Gambhir and WV Raman were interviewed by the BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) on Tuesday for the national team's head coach position. The interviews, conducted via Zoom, included Gambhir, Raman, and CAC head Ashok Malhotra, along with committee members Jatin Paranjpe and Sulakshana Naik.

A BCCI source confirmed that Gambhir participated in the interview process. "Yes, Gambhir appeared for the interview with the CAC. One round of discussions happened today. There is another round expected tomorrow," the source said. Gambhir's interview focused on his vision and roadmap for Indian cricket over the next three years, which will include three ICC tournaments across different formats.
