David Warner Sends Out Chhath Puja Greetings, Indian Fans Highly Impressed
As India celebrates the third day of the auspicious four-day Chhath Puja, Australia's David Warner sent out his well wishes and greetings for the popular Indian festival. Warner took to the social media platform Instagram to extend his best wishes for Chhath Puja, a huge festival which is traditionally observed in the eastern states of India, like Jharkhand , Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Warner posted a Chhath Puja graphic and extended his well wishes in the caption of the Instagram post. "Wishing A very Happy Chhath Puja India…." the former Australia opener wrote in the caption.

Fans from India were impressed with Warner sending out Chhath Puja greetings, and they flooded the post's comment section wishing the former Australia opener the same. Some of the fans had quirky responses as they asked whether he received his Adhaar Card or not. Nevertheless, the Indian fans were jubilant with Warner extending wishes for Chhath Puja. Some of them also named him 'Bihar ke lala' for sending out wishes on the auspicious occassion.

Ahead of the IPL Auction, the Delhi Capitals have let go of David Warner, which would put him in the pool of players who will be made available for auction. But in the Big bash League, the superstar cricketer was made the skipper for the Sydney Sixers franchise, and the former Australia opener will be leading the side in which he has been a part since the beginning of the tournament.
