Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who starred in first T20 against Sri Lanka on October 27, feels that Australia has turned a corner in T20 cricket and that is why side has been able to pull off victories. Leing to showcase event in Australia next year, all-rounder also expressed that his side is moving in right direction by picking up specialists for shortest format of game. In first T20 against Sri Lanka, Glenn Maxwell fired 62 runs off just 28 balls to help his side put up a massive 233 on board.

Glenn Maxwell on Tuesday said, "For past two years, I feel we have turned a corner in T20 cricket and our improved results are an alibi to it. re is a change in way that we have started looking at game. We have started picking up specialists inste of regular players that play ODI, which I feel also gives players a specialist role and t just regular roll-out batting line up." He ded, "w that we have specialist roles, I feel mindset of team has also changed and it is working in our favour. This also helps Finchy (FInch) relax a bit kwing that right guys are re at right spot." He also said that it was necessary to give captain, Aaron Finch his in this format. "You don't want him to be surrounded by too many opinions since re is time in this format. You have to let him be, have some time to think and talk to bowler. If he comes to you, you answer honestly," Maxwell said.

First T20 against Sri Lanka
Australia handed Sri Lanka a huge 134-run defeat in first T20 at Oval, elaide in first T20 match on Sunday as preparations for World T20 went underway.
