'Go back Pakistan': Bangladesh cricket fans outraged after visitors carry flag to training

A controversy has erupted ahe of T20 match between Pakistan and Banglesh on vember 19, after visitors' flag placed during a practice session in Dhaka has upset Bangleshi citizens.

Pakistan he coach Saqlain Mushtaq on Tuesday continued trend of carrying his country's national flag for training to boost morale of squ. Saqlain, who started this trend in recently-concluded T20 World Cup, continued with same routine on Tuesday, while heing into three-match T20I series against Banglesh.

In ims shared by PCB Media's official Twitter handle, Pakistan flag can be seen planted on ground as team commenced training for series. However, Banglesh fans disapproved of move and many took to Twitter to express ir displeasure.

"Go back Pakistan. Banglesh should stop series. Ban any kind of Pakistani flag in Banglesh," tweeted one fan.

Ar Twitter user commented: "Different countries have come to Banglesh innumerable times, many matches have been played by practising. But neir party needed to practice burying ir national flag on ground. But why did Pakistan do that...What does it indicate."

Banglesh vs Pakistan

PCB on Monday anunced Pakistan team for two Tests against Banglesh, which will be played in Chittagong (vember 26-30) and Dhaka (December 4-8).

Opener Imam-Ul-Haq, middle-order batter Kamran Ghulam and off-spinner Bilal Asif have are among players in 20-player squ, replacing Haris Rauf, Imran Butt, Shahnawaz Dahani, and Yasir Shah, who were part of 21-player side that toured West Indies in July/August.

Left-handed Imam was recalled after his stellar performances in ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in which he amassed 488 runs in five innings of four matches, including an unbeaten double-century. Imam h played his 11th and last Test against Australia in elaide in vember/December 2019.
