'Good Vibes Only' as Pant meets Dhoni ahead of Bangladesh series

Wicket-keeper batsmen Rishabh Pant, who has always heaped praises over former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, took to his Twitter on Friday and shared a picture with him, captioning it as 'Good Vibes Only'. In picture, Pant can be seen chilling out with Indian legend and his pets.

Dhoni has me himself unavailable for selection since 50-over World Cup, selection committee on Thursday included Sanju Samson as a back-up wicket-keeper for Pant in India's T20 squ for series against Banglesh.

Rishabh Pant has been a talking point for cricket fans and experts alike. 21-year-old is alrey touted as successor to MS Dhoni and he has been in Indian team for almost a year w. His popularity was evident when angry fans tweeted about his absence from India's initial squ for this year's World Cup.

MSK Pras on Dhoni's future and Pant's inclusion in team

Chief selector MSK Pras on Wednesday me it clear that y are willing to give Rishabh Pant a long rope, saying Mahendra Singh Dhoni is on same p with selection committee's decision to back youngsters. Pras said that he has alrey mentioned that it's time to think beyond Dhoni and it reflected in ir team selections.

"I me it very clear post World Cup that we are moving on. We are giving opportunities to youngsters and see that y establish mselves in side. With Rishabh Pant doing so well and Sanju Samson coming into side, I am sure, you must be understanding our thought process. Of course, he (Pant) might t have best of matches, way we expect of him, but we can still only make a player by backing somebody. So we are confident that he will come out successful and that's been thought process post World Cup and we focusing on Rishabh Pant," ded Pras.
