It so happened that governing body of world cricket International Cricket Council (ICC) had asked passionate cricket fans if y were to pick a team that y would watch for rest of ir lives, n what was it going to be? and while fans came forward with ir playing XI, even former English spinner participated in contest as well as he made a team which included likes of former English cricketer Colin Milburn, late New Zealand skipper Martin Crowe, Australian great Sir Donald Bradman, his countryman Mark Waugh, legendary English all-rounder Sir Ian Botham, Alan Ktt, Aussie spin legend Shane Warne, Harold Larwood, Pakistani pace legend Wasim Akram and veteran English pacer James Anderson.

However, what really stood out in this list was that cricketing legend, as well as Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, was only Indian cricketer who had made it to veteran spinner's playing XI.
