A furious Harbhajan Singh chided Adam Gilchrist after the Australian suggested that he was perhaps not out when the Indian spinner had him LBW during his historic hat-trick way back in 2001. Adam Gilchrist was Harabhajn's second wicket in that game-changing spell. A fan shared the video clip of Harbhajan's achievement, reacting to which Gilchrist wrote: "No DRS" on his twitter handle. The Australian suggested that if the Decision Review System (DRS) technology was available at that time, he would have got the LBW decision overturned.

Harbhajan Singh furious with Adam Gilchrist
Taking it personally, Harbhajan blasted Gilchrist, saying he would not have survived long during that spell. "U think u would have survived for long if not a first ball? Stop crying over these things mate..thought u would talk sense after ur playing days.. but few things never change u r the prime example of that. Always crying," wrote Harbhajan. The off-spinner was India's first bowler to claim a Test hat-trick in that 2001 home series. Pacer Jasprit Bumrah recently became only the third Indian bowler to get a hat-trick in the longest format during the second Test against the West Indies. Irfan Pathan had achieved the feat in 2006 against Pakistan.

Adam Gilchrist says 'No DRS then'
Former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist took a dig at Harbhajan Singh's historic moment and said that there was no Decision Review System(DRS) available at that time. Adam Gilchrist was dismissed by Harbhajan Singh after he was trapped in an LBW during the contest between India and Australia on June 2001. A disgruntled Adam Gilchrist walked back to the pavilion shaking his head, clearly unhappy with the umpire's call. Years later, when a user shared Harbhajan Singh's moment on a social media platform, Adam Gilchrist made a comment saying there was no DRS system at that time along with a sad emoji. While Harbhajan Singh was comparing his hat-trick to Jasprit Bumrah's spectacular feat, it looked like Adam Gilchrist was whining about the loss of his wicket in the match against India.

Harbhajan Singh feels indebted to Ramesh
The Turbanator still feels that without Ramesh's flash of brilliance, he wouldn't have been able to create history. "I remember that I discussed with Dada (Sourav Ganguly) and we decided to keep it on stumps and try for a third leg before but Warne flicked it. Now to be honest, Ramesh wasn't the most athletic of the guys in that team. Yet at forward short-leg, he pulled off that stunner with a less than split-second reaction time. Whenever I have later met Ramesh, I told him, 'buddy my hat-trick belongs to you'," Harbhajan fondly recollected. That's why I believe that some things happen that come together and such a beautiful thing happens. It was Ramesh's brilliance then and it's Virat's conviction now," said the owner of 711 international wickets. The most endearing thing, according to Harbhajan, was Rahul Dravid's celebration. "I have never seen Rahul so excited, jumping with joy. Perhaps, he also didn't believe Ramesh can pull off such a catch," he said.
