Harbhajan Singh has special message for CSK fans in Tamil; watch video

CSK off-spinner Harbhajan Singh posted a special video in Tamil on Wednesday for his fans on IPL franchise's official Twitter account. In video, Bhajji urged his fans and followers to take all necessary, precautionary measures in order to prevent risk of catching COVID-19. He furr asked people to stay indoors and only leave house if re is an absolute necessity and that too only after wearing a mask.

Harbhajan Singh's mess for fans ahead of IPL 2020

MS Dhoni-led CSK side picked up Harbhajan Singh in IPL 2018 auction at his base price of ₹2 crores. ' Turbanator' has become an integral part of side since n. He is often seen taking new ball for side too when required. He had a very impressive season last year where he picked up 16 wickets in 11 matches.

CSK squad is famous for having seasoned campaigners in ir side. Harbhajan Singh is one of most experienced player in IPL, having played 160 matches and taking 150 wickets. 40-year-old cricketer will be looking to deliver a thumping performance in IPL 2020 to get back into reckoning for Indian team. Singh is quite active on social media and he posts such updates regularly in order to stay connected with his fans.

CSK reaches Dubai for IPL 2020

Due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, IPL is slated to take place in UAE this year. CSK has already reached Dubai and squad is currently serving ir mandatory quarantine period. Harbhajan Singh did t travel with team due to his mor's illness and will join squad soon.

Harbhajan will have to battle it out with likes of Karn Sharma, Piyush Chawla, Imran Tahir and Sai Kishore for a spot in playing XI. All franchises will have to comply with stringent guidelines set by BCCI for cash-rich league. IPL 2020 is set to take place behind closed doors without presence of a live crowd. Moreover, players shall t be allowed to travel outside biosecure bubble for meals or drinks. 

With three IPL trophies already in ir kitty, Chennai Super Kings are one of top favourites to clinch title.  event is set to commence from September 19, with finals scheduled for vember 10.
