India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who was down with a lower back injury that resurfaced, has successfully undergone surgery and vowed to make his comeback in time. Hardik Pandya took to Instagram to share a picture of his recovery post his surgery and said that he would be back in action in time as surgery was successful. Hardik Pandya h flown to United Kingdom to consult doctors on his back injury.  Baroda all-rounder is second key member in Indian team after premier speedster Jasprit Bumrah, who has been ruled out of South Africa Test series due to stress fractures in his lower back. "Hardik is also set to go to United Kingdom to consult same doctor, who h treated him during first injury post-Asia Cup. He is certainly t playing Banglesh series but how long he will be out is still t clear. We will kw after he comes back from United Kingdom," a senior BCCI source told PTI on conditions of anymity.

In fact, outgoing chairman of selectors MSK Pras h said that going into World T20, y are looking to use Hardik more in white-ball format games. 25-year-old has scored 532 runs and taken 17 wickets in 11 Tests.
