Haris Rauf has made a tremendous impact with ball in hand in last one year. While he is kwn to outsmart batsmen with his brilliant toe-crushers, pacer won everyone's hearts when he apologised to veteran player Shahid Afridi after dismissing him in Eliminator 2 between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans at National Stadium in Karachi on Sunday night.

This happened in 14th over of Multan's innings. On penultimate delivery, 'Lala' who had just come to crease took strike and was cleaned up for a golden duck. former Pakistan skipper tried to work an incoming delivery towards backward square leg but such was pace of ball that it quickly sneaked between his bat and pads as furniture was disturbed. A stunned Afridi had choice but to take a long walk back to pavilion for a golden duck.

While dynamic batsman was on his way back, Rauf approached him and stood before him with folded hands.

Qalandars beat Sultans to set up a title-clash with Karachi Kings

Multan Sultans skipper Shan Masood won toss and asked Qalandars to have a bat first. Openers Fakhar Zaman (46 ) and Tamim Iqbal (30)added 46 runs for opening stand. However, it appeared that Lahore would lose ir way during middle of ir innings after having lost half ir side for 111 but it was t to be as South African all-rounder David Weise's spectacular cameo took m to a competitive total of 182/6 in ir 20 overs. In reply, Sultans got off to a good start riding on some delightful strokes from opener Adam Lyth (50). However, that was only silver lining in dark cloud for Shan Masood-led side as neir of or batsmen could succeed in converting ir starts into back kcks and in end were bundled out for 157 in final over. 

Lahore Qalandars won this crucial fixture by 25 runs and will w be facing Karachi Kings in tournament-decider at same venue on Tuesday, vember 17.
