'Need To Learn': Harmanpreet Kaur Reveals Key Aspect In Which Indian Women's Team Needs Improvement

ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024: After the heroics of Rohit Sharma's men in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, it is now time for Harmanpreet Singh's team to bring the World T20 glory to India. India experienced a long ICC trophy drought which was finally put to an end on June 29, 2024 by Rohit Sharma's team. The Indian men's team defeated South Africa in the finals of World T20 by seven runs.
India Captain Harmanpreet Kaur Looks To Script History In UAE
As far as the ICC Women's T20 World Cup is concerned, the Indian team has experienced many bittersweet moments. India came very close to winning the women's T20 in 2020 and 2023, but crumbled when the pressure was mounted on them in the knockout stages. Australia defeated India in the finals of World T20 2020 and knocked them out of the semis of World T20 2023.

Harmanpreet Kaur, while speaking at a event recently said that the women's team need to seek inspiration from the men's team as they are on the same road of competing in the T20 World Cup. Kaur also said that the women's team needs to learn how to maintain their body language in pressure situations.
'They worked really hard for this trophy and won some tough matches. We need to learn how they maintained their body language for such matches and how they approached such games. We're on the same road now and getting ready for our (T20) World Cup campaign. The team is working really hard and our attempt will be to give our country and fans another opportunity to celebrate this year', said Harmanpreet.
