Harry Brook Breaks Virender Sehwag's 20-Year-Old Multan Record with Triple Century Against Pakistan
Harry Brook scored his first-ever triple century on the fourth day of the Multan Test. The 25-year-old broke a remarkable record held by Virender Sehwag.
The recent Multan Test saw England demolish Pakistan in what was expected to be a bowler-friendly pitch. The Englishmen delivered exceptionally well, and despite not having the home-field advantage, the Men in Green did not stand a chance against the visitors. One of the Three Lions' batters, Harry Brook, also broke a record which was once made by Indian Cricket icon Virender Sehwag. The soil of Multan saw a momentous record being accomplished by the English batter as they asserted their dominance against the home side.

On the fourth day of the Multan Test between England and Pakistan , cricketer Harry Brook secured his maiden triple century. It was an exceptional sight for the Three Lions as the 25-year-old broke an extraordinary record, which was once achieved by Indian Cricket legend Virender Sehwag. Brook surpassed Sehwag's two-year-old record in Multan after smashing 309 runs, breaking a 20-year-old record in the process. Harry's individual score was the highest among everyone involved in the Test match. Brook was eventually dismissed for 317 off 322 deliveries.
Harry Brook secured 300 runs in 310 runs and is the second fastest to reach the triple-ton feat. Virender Sehwag still holds the fastest to score 300 runs in Test Cricket when he achieved the feat in 278 balls back in 2008 at Multan.

The triple ton adds up to the budding career of the 25-year-old cricketer Harry Brook as he sets foot into the big leagues. The Englishman was the first in 34 years to reach the 300-run feat after Andy Sandham, Len Hutton, Wally Hammond, Graham Gooch, and Bill Edrich. He is now the sixth man to do so in red-ball cricket.
England have a comfortable lead in the game as they scored 823/7d. Their bowling has also been strong after they scalped six wickets at stumps on Day 4, with the hosts scoring 152 and are trailing by 115 runs.
