Indian cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle hosted a popular kids sports quiz TV show, School Quiz Olympiad for ESPN and Star Sports during the early 2000s.

Indian cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle is widely recognised as one of greatest commentators game has ever heard. Nicknamed ‘Voice of Cricket’, Harsha Bhogle also hosted a popular TV show titled School Quiz Olympi for ESPN and Star Sports during early 2000s. During a recent Instagram Live session, commentator was asked by a fan wher he would be willing to return to show.

In session, Harsha Bhogle cited reason why he left his popular sports quiz show for kids during early 2000s. cricket expert said that while he hosted show for five years, he was starting to get a little “affected” by participating students, who ended up on  losing side. He ded that some of participants used to travel long distances and he could t bear ir “sness” upon losing. However, Harsha Bhogle also mitted to getting many tweets of late of his followers requesting him to return show. He n concluded by saying that show could still happen on popular demand with ar anchor hosting it.

Apart from discussing popular 2000s TV show, Harsha Bhogle also discussed future of international and league cricket in post coronavirus world. commentator believed that cricket boards like Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are likely to organise ir respective T20 leagues like Indian Premier League (IPL) over next couple of years. He ded that staging cash-rich tournaments like IPL will help BCCI to remunerate some losses y incurred during ongoing coronavirus season.

much-awaited IPL 2020 was originally intended to launch on March 29. However, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly recently stated that re are plans of staging any cricketing activities in country as of w. T20 World Cup, scheduled for October-vember in Australia this year, is also clouded with much uncertainty at moment.
