With two scalps in first session on Day three, Ravindra Jadeja once again stunned South African batsmen with his straight deliveries that went on top crash stumps. Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja gave hosts an important breakthrough as he got wicket of Zubayr Hamza - whose partnership with Temba Bavuma was frustrating Indian bowlers. Talking about variations in Jadeja's bowling, Harsha Bhogle said that batsman could t perceive any change in Jadeja releasing a ball that turns and one that goes on straight. Harsha Bhogle said that this made Jadeja most dangerous bowler on a turning track. He also hailed Jadeja's scalps - Hamza and Klaasen as victims of conventional spin bowling.

South Africa's Zubayr Hamza brought up his maiden Test half-century on Day three as visitors slowly recovered from an early strike by India. Resuming day on 9-2, South Africa lost skipper Faf DuPlessis in fourth ball of first over for just one run. Zubayr Hamza along with Temba Bavuma has played a slow yet patient kck as y got scoreboard ticking with ir 50-run partnership. Zubayr Hamza's fifty came off 56 deliveries with eight fours and one six. Zubayr Hamza got to his half-century in style with a six.

South Africa struggle at 129-6
South Africa looked like y were picking up some steam after first session on Day three before spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Shahbaz Nadeem got breakthrough for India, putting visitors in a perilous position. Zubayr Hamza and Temba Bavuma mand to get a partnership going after Faf DuPlessis was sent packing early in day but fell short after Hamza was bowled over by a low-lying delivery from Jadeja. Temba Bavuma followed Hamza, as he fell prey to Shahbaz Nadeem's turner, making it first Test scalp for debutant spinner. South Africa are at 129-6 before lunch, trailing India by 368 runs.
