But as he progressed, Rana dealt with a slew of injuries, and he h to pace through pain as he dealt with multiple fractures. Rana's far Preep, who represented CRPF in weightlifting and hammer throw, opened up on how he took his son through various hospitals and even sought an Ayurvedic way to heal his son's issues.

“First it was back, n it was groin, n calf and a niggle in shoulder. Every part of his body was injured. During that time I h taken him to many hospitals just to understand why he is breaking down. I even took him to an Ayurveda facility in Najafgarh. Whatever kwledge I gained from watching videos, and reing news items, I tried everything,” Preep said to Indian Express.
