Kuldeep Yadav produced another brilliant spell against Sri Lanka
Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj provided the perfect start to the Indian team as the home side was reeling at 25 for 3. Sri Lanka stitched a number of solid partnerships, and following his antics with the bat, Wellalage was on course to take the game away as he kept chipping with use full runs.

But Kuldeep Yadav had a terrific day with the ball once again. The left-arm spinner wrapped up the Lankan batting lineup with a four-wicket haul and thus became the highest wicket-taker in the Asia Cup for the time being. There have been growing concerns about whether the absence of Yuzvendra Chahal would be a significant miss for the hosts in the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup.
Virender Sehwag showered praises on Kuldeep Yadav
But the Delhi Capitals spinner has shown what he is capable of and his illustration of the threat would be a crucial boost for Rohit Sharma and Co. Virender Sehwag pointed out that Kuldeep is going to play a pivotal role in the cricketing extravaganza. He took to social media to post, "Brilliant Kuldeep. Man to watch out for this World Cup. Great defence today our boys."
India will play three matches against Australia, which will serve as a dress rehearsal for the World Cup and help them assess their options.
